"Never Eat Alone"

It's been said many times from leading authors, business executives, career coaches, and highly regarded speakers, that if your business requires customers in order to grow then a great way to build a strong network is to "never eat alone". The same holds true for building relationships and networking for job hunting.

Best selling author, Keith Ferrazzi, offers a multitude of ideas on this very topic in his book, Never Eat Alone. It's a great read packed with a wealth of relationship-building strategies. I particularly liked his suggestion of engaging in dining and food celebrations to build connections - always with a giving or serving heart.

What better time than now to build relationships by inviting another for coffee, lunch or a holiday dining event. Engaging others with a giving spirit, like the ones mentioned in Never Eat Alone, offers business leaders, job hunters, career coaches, in fact all of us, a wonderful way to build relationships and to help each other grow. ~ka
